Aykler is one of the most experienced property managers of non-profit housing in Toronto. We've been working in this sector since 1979, starting with a CMHC-funded project that we still manage today.
We work with diverse ethnic groups, religious organizations, and non-profits such as Habitat for Humanity Toronto, helping each group contribute to the formation of strong local communities. Not only did Bob Aykler serve on the committee that developed the Guide to Social Housing in Toronto for Housing Connections, we are long-time associate members in the Ontario Non-Profit Housing Association (ONPHA), and regularly attend ONPHA workshops and conferences.
Aykler manages one of the first buildings in Toronto that faced the end of its operating agreement with CMHC. Aykler smoothly managed the transition with tenants, housing board and agencies from all three levels of government.
